چکیده

Nanofiber-based products are widely used in the fields of public health, air/water filtration, energy storage, etc. The demand for nonwoven is rapidly increasing especially after COVID-19 pandemic. Electrospinning most popular technology to produce nanofiber-based from various kinds materials bench and commercial scales. While centrifugal spinning electro-centrifugal considered be other two well-known technologies fabricate nanofibers. However, their developments restricted mainly due unnormalized devices principles. High solution concentration high production efficiency main strengths spinning, but beaded fibers can formed easily air perturbation or device vibration. Electro-centrifugal by introducing a voltage electrostatic field into system, which suppresses formation results producing elegant It believed that electrospinning replaced some specific application areas. This article gives an overview on existing crucial processing parameters these nanofiber technologies, also constructive suggestions proposed facilitate development spinning.

A comparative study of jet formation and nanofiber alignment in electrospinning and electrocentrifugal spinning systems

Electrocentrifugal spinning is a recently developed spinning system whose performance is still under investigation by researchers. In this study the process of jet formation in electrocentrifugal spinning is explored and compared to the same process in electrospinning and centrifuge spinning. The results show that the incorporation of the electrical and the centrifugal forces in the electrocent...

Nanofiber assembly by rotary jet-spinning.

High-voltage electrical fields and low production rate limit electrospinning, the electrical charging of polymer liquids, as a means of nanofiber fabrication. Here, we show a facile method of fabrication of aligned three-dimensional nanofiber structures by utilizing high-speed, rotating polymer solution jets to extrude fibers. Termed rotary jet-spinning, fiber morphology, diameter, and web poro...

Composite Fibers from Recycled Plastics Using Melt Centrifugal Spinning

New methods are being developed to enable the production of value-added materials from high-volume, low-cost feedstocks arising from domestic recycling streams. In this work, recycled bottle-grade polyethylene terephthalate, polystyrene, and polypropylene were spun into fibers from the melt using a centrifugal spinning technique. Mono-component fibers and 50/50 blends of each polymer and a 33/3...
